Tyres:

Schwalbe Big Apple 55-406

More than a decade has passed since the Big Apple sparked the trend towards balloon bikes: cycling in comfort, without any complex technology and with the tyre's air cushion providing natural suspension. Inflated to approx. 2 bar, a balloon bike runs smooth as a whistle; effortlessly and with the full suspension effect. A normal 37-mm wide tyre would have to be inflated hard as nails to 4 bar to roll similarly well.

Carrier:

VDV Tour, Aluminium, with spring clamp

With a large cargo area, it is ideally suited for touring. The deep pannier attachment allows an improved center of gravity of the luggage. Because they are positioned far back there is great room for your feet. The rear light of VDV TOUR is especially protected. It can be loaded with up to 25 kg.

Frame geometry

The right frame height is important for a high degree of cycling comfort and fun. When you have chosen a model, the fame height is first defined. This primarily depends on your leg / inside length. The following rule of thumb will help you find the right frame height: Inside leg - 25 cm = frame height If you should be exactly between two frame heights, choose the smaller of the two. If you wish to fit your bike with a suspension saddle post, you should also choose a frame one size smaller.
